Bureau Veritas 頒發磐儀科技 IEC證書 資安韌性守護客戶邊緣部署
The certification demonstrates ARBOR's commitment to integrating cybersecurity into product development from the outset, providing customers with greater confidence when deploying edge computing solutions in security-sensitive environments.
Embedding Cybersecurity Throughout the Development Lifecycle
IEC 62443, jointly developed by the International Society of Automation (ISA) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), is one of the most widely recognized cybersecurity standards for Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS). Specifically, IEC 62443-4-1 establishes requirements for a secure product development lifecycle, covering every stage of product creation, including requirements analysis, system design, software and firmware development, testing, vulnerability management, and ongoing maintenance.
With the support of Deloitte's advisory team, ARBOR successfully integrated threat modeling, secure-by-design principles, and security validation processes into its existing R&D framework. The company also implemented a Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) program and established a structured process for continuous vulnerability monitoring and assessment.
According to Howard Jyan, Senior Executive Vice President, Deloitte Taiwan, increasingly stringent global cybersecurity regulations, together with the upcoming implementation of the European Union's Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), are making robust secure development practices and vulnerability management essential requirements for industrial technology providers seeking to participate in international supply chains.
ARBOR Technology: Cybersecurity as a Responsibility and a Fundamental Customer Commitment
