New ARBOR COM Express Compact module with single-chip Intel® 8th Generation Core U-series processors

Built on Intel’s new 14nm process technology, the 8th generation Intel® Core™ U-series processor is designed to provide excellent graphics and performance. Supporting the next generation of ARBOR’s COM Express modules is the PBC-900J carrier board for Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, which also maintains compatibility with previous generation modules.

New Intel® UHD Graphics 620 delivers stunning and responsive visuals in 8th generation Intel® Core™ U-series processors, including Ultra HD 4k display and additional codec support. The enhanced built-in security and manageability features help to drive down both total cost and risk, protecting data and preventing malware threats.

EmETXe-i91U0 is designed to support up to three independent display via HDMI 1.4, LVDS and embedded DisplayPort (eDP) interfaces. The analog RGB is also supported by the dedicated Sku. When using DisplayPort 1.2 for multiple displays, the individual display can be daisy chained to take advantage Multi-Stream Transport feature, allowing fewer cables. Native USB 3.0 support provides fast data transmission with low power consumption. The two SODIMM sockets can be equipped with up to 32GB SODIMM DDR4 memory.

The strength of the EmETXe-i91U0 lies in the flexibility and customization for the intended application. A total of twelve USB ports are provided, four of them support USB 3.0 SuperSpeed. Eight PCI Express 2.0 lanes, two SATA ports with up to 6 Gb/s and a Intel® i219LM PCIe Gbe PHY support Intel® Active Management Technology 12 (Intel® AMT 12) to enable fast and flexible system extensions, complete the highly flexible design. The extra features are TPM, up to 32GB eMMC 5.0, two UART (RX/TX) ports, 8-bit Digital I/O, 5V-20V wide range power input and more.

The EmETXe-i91U0 is based on ARBOR unique extreme rugged electronic design, with the ability to operate in -40°C ~ 85°C environment temperature.
