ARBOR Showcases Physical AI Solutions at Automation Taipei 2026

ARBOR Technology, a leading global provider of industrial computers, announced that it will showcase smart manufacturing solutions integrating Physical AI, edge computing, machine vision, and robotic collaboration at "Automation Taipei 2026" from August 19 to 22. The exhibit will be located at Booth S1016, 4th Floor, Hall 2 of the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.

Under the theme "From Edge to Action" and positioned as an "AI Ecosystem Hub," the exhibit will demonstrate real-world deployment achievements spanning data acquisition, AI inference, and equipment control, showcasing practical application models of Physical AI in smart manufacturing.

Showcasing Physical AI Solutions

One of the highlights of this exhibition is a Physical AI demonstration system built around the concept of "Empowering Autonomous Robot Fleets: From Robotic Edge Intelligence to Edge AI HPC Clusters."

ARBOR will showcase a Physical AI Closed-Loop Control Architecture driven by the collaborative operation of the AEC-8000 and EdgeX-6000 . The AEC-8000 is responsible for device-level real-time control and sensor data processing, while the EdgeX-6000 executes large-scale AI model inference, machine vision analysis, and decision-making calculations, establishing a complete feedback loop of sensing, inference, decision-making, and control.

The two platforms exchange data via high-speed networking, transmitting inference results back to edge devices in real time to execute control commands. This forms a complete closed-loop workflow from data collection and AI inference to equipment control, demonstrating the deployment capabilities of Physical AI in actual industrial environments.

Robotics Collaboration Platform Combines AI Agents with Natural Language Control

In robotic collaboration applications, ARBOR will present the ARBOR Edge AI-MVCon smart robotics IPC platform.
Demonstrating collaborative operations between two industrial robotic arms, the system pairs with the ARBOR SM-211C industrial touch monitor as the Human-Machine Interface (HMI), powered by the ARBOR IEC-6700 fanless industrial computer and FPC-9309W-G5 industrial computer as the computing and control cores. This solution integrates a motion-vision control platform, combining machine vision recognition, motion control, and process management capabilities.
Additionally, the system incorporates AI Agent technology. Visitors can input operational commands via voice, which the AI converts in real time into robot control scripts and execution workflows, assisting with motion adjustments and task modifications to lower the technical threshold for robot implementation and maintenance.

AI Vision Safety Monitoring Applied to Injection Molding Production Lines

ARBOR will demonstrate a safety monitoring application integrating MES systems, industrial robotic arms, and AI vision analysis.

The live injection molding production line utilizes the ARBOR SP-241C Smart Manufacturing Control Terminal as the MES process management interface, integrating equipment parameter settings, process monitoring, and HMI operations while collaboratively controlling a robotic arm for automated part retrieval.
Paired with the LU720 AI safety monitoring system, it provides real-time safety hazard analysis for robotic arm operations, personnel entry/exit activities, and ongoing tasks on the production line.

Alert information is transmitted back to the MES system, assisting on-site management personnel in addressing abnormal events immediately to enhance factory safety management and production stability.

ARBOR stated that with the rapid evolution of generative AI, Physical AI, and autonomous robotics technology, the demand for high-performance AI computing and real-time control capabilities in industrial environments continues to grow.
