Intel® Iris Xe Graphics
The 11th generation Intel® Core™ embedded processors include the Intel® Iris Xe embedded graphics processor, featuring up to 96 execution units -50% more than the previous generation. Intel® Iris Xe is capable of delivering video resolution up to 8K 12-bit HDR on a single display or 4K 10-bit HDR on two displays. An additional DVI-D video port supporting full HD is also provided.
Faster Storage and Fan-less Design
ARES-1980 has a compact design, with dimensions of only 210 x 180 x 60 mm. The M.2 M key slot and 2.5 HDD/SSD tray allow additional storage devices, and it supports Raid 0 and Raid 1 configuration to protect your valuable data. Furthermore, ARES-1980 has a high performance, fan-less, passive thermal design, which eases installation and makes dust accumulation avoidable.
Extensive I/O Interfaces
ARES-1980 features versatile I/O interfaces and connectivity. It provides four COM ports (RS-232), one 2.5GbE LAN, two PoE ports, four USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, and eight digital input/output connectors. With USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, high-speed data transferring may reach 10 Gbps. ARES-1980 also comes with HDMI, DisplayPort, and DVI for connecting multiple monitors.
Wireless Communication Technology and In-vehicle Application
ARES-1980 supports 5G module and dual SIM card slots with an auto switch. This feature allows ARES-1980 to switch SIM card service to your regions automatically. ARES-1980's 11th generation Intel® processor has implemented Intel's CNVi that enhances Wi-Fi 6 design and delivers optimal performance for Wi-Fi 6 applications.
Enhancing Machine Vision Application
ARES-1980 supports high-speed DI/O interface, which allows faster trigger rate for machine vision cameras, and improved production efficiency. ARES-1980 also has PoE ports and a 2.5G Ethernet, providing fast and reliable network capability for information exchanges. Additionally, to suit a variety of specific applications, ARES-1980 is designed with a Multi-Serial Bus connectivity, which supports I2C, SPI, UART, and GPIO devices.
