ARBOR Technology Partners with Pyras Technology to Launch Multi-Orbit Satellite Smart Communication Solution, Enhancing Mission-Critical Resilience
Integrating satellite and terrestrial networks with intelligent multi-link switching to bolster communication reliability for maritime, disaster response, and remote operations.

In response to the growing demand for mission-critical connectivity amidst extreme weather events, emergency disaster response, and remote deployments, ARBOR Technology (TWSE: 3594) has partnered with Pyras Technology to unveil a next-generation Multi-Orbit Satellite Smart Communication Solution.
By integrating Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) with terrestrial network resources and leveraging ARBOR’s proprietary Super Router platform, the solution establishes a robust communication architecture equipped with intelligent routing and automated failover capabilities, significantly boosting edge computing efficiency and network resilience in critical environments.
Combining ARBOR’s advanced network integration expertise with Pyras Technology’s satellite communication capabilities, the solution simultaneously supports Geostationary Orbit (GEO), Medium Earth Orbit (MEO), and Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites, alongside 5G, Wi-Fi, and wired Ethernet links. Centralized through ARBOR’s Super Router, the system monitors real-time metrics—including latency, packet loss, and signal quality—to dynamically perform intelligent path selection and seamless link switching, guaranteeing continuous, rock-solid connectivity.
Serving as the core of the overall solution, the ARBOR Super Router features a ruggedized design engineered to withstand the harshest operating conditions, boasting an IP67K ingress protection rating and meeting military standards for shock and vibration resistance. The platform delivers link aggregation, advanced route management, and secure tunneling, consolidating disparate satellite and terrestrial links into a single unified communication platform. This design drastically streamlines on-site deployment and ongoing operations and maintenance (O&M), enabling users to enjoy uninterrupted and dependable network services without needing to switch devices or reconfigure settings across varying environments.
Beyond data transmission, the solution integrates real-time Voice over IP (VoIP) capabilities, supporting instant messaging, voice calls, and video conferencing. Even in bandwidth-constrained satellite environments, its low-bandwidth optimization ensures crisp, reliable communication quality, while robust end-to-end security protocols safeguard the transmission of sensitive and critical mission data.
Thanks to its IP67 protection and military-grade ruggedness, this multi-orbit solution thrives despite severe weather and intense physical vibrations, making it ideal for deep-sea maritime vessels, offshore islands, disaster relief operations, public safety, and isolated field sites. Whenever terrestrial infrastructure is compromised or unavailable, the system leverages AI-powered edge computing to dynamically allocate traffic and rapidly establish high-reliability satellite backup links, maintaining uninterrupted data exchange and real-time command-and-control operations.
This partnership underscores our technological leadership in edge computing and intelligent connectivity integration,” stated ARBOR Technology. “Looking ahead, we will continue to advance the synergy between satellite and terrestrial networks, teaming up with ecosystem partners to accelerate implementations across maritime, emergency response, and public safety sectors, providing the global market with smarter and more resilient mission-critical solutions.
