ARBOR Technology, a leading provider of embedded computing solutions, has announced the IOT-500 as a new addition to its ultra-slim series of industrial Panel PC products. The compact, lightweight 5” IOT-500 is a RISC-based Panel PC that offers low power without compromising performance and features. Based on a highly energy-efficient dual-core ARM Cortex-A7 processor and the Android 5.1 “Lollipop” operating system, the IOT-500 supports flexible I/O connectivity and multiple communications, making it a smart way for users to interact with the Internet of Things. It is well-suited for a variety of applications, especially in vehicle management, healthcare services, and factory and home automation segments. | ![]() |
The IOT-500 comes with a 5-inch 960 X 540 350-nit capacitive multi touch screen. Its IP65-rated flat front bezel TFT LCD display makes it dust resistant and protected against moisture. It has a wide operating temperature range from -10℃ to +50℃, and accepts 12~24V DC power input for optimal durability and stability. The unit provides dual USB 2.0 ports, RS232/422/485, CAN 2.0B/OBD-ll, 10/100 LAN, and 4x 3.3V GPIO, allowing easy deployment in the field to support a wide variety of customer functions. For wireless communication, the IOT-500 provides Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.1, GPRS/WCDMA, as well as GPS. With an extraordinarily light weight of 350g, a compact size of 149 X 110 X 37 mm, and 50 x 50 mm VESA hole pattern, the IOT-500 can easily be mounted on walls or integrated into a dash. | |
